With Aureo you can use your bitcoin to pay anyone with a Mexican bank account. You choose the recipient, Aureo converts your bitcoin to pesos at the market rate, and the recipient receives an ordinary SPEI transfer. They do not need an Aureo account, a wallet, or any knowledge of Bitcoin.
Before you start
Your identity verification must be approved.
You need a Lightning-compatible wallet with balance to pay from.
You need the recipient's details: their CLABE, debit card number, or phone number, plus their full legal name.
Steps to pay
Open the account menu and select Sell bitcoin.
In the To field, tap the edit icon and add the recipient's account by CLABE, debit card number, or phone number, along with their full name.
Enter the amount in Mexican pesos you want the recipient to receive.
Add a note so the payment is easy to identify, for example Renta.
Tap Sell bitcoin and pay the Lightning invoice from your wallet within 5 minutes: scan the QR code, copy the invoice, or tap Open in wallet.
Once your payment confirms, Aureo sends the pesos to the recipient's bank account via SPEI, usually within minutes.
Choose the recipient, enter the amount, and add a note such as Renta.
Pay the Lightning invoice from your wallet to complete the transfer.
Keep in mind
Double-check the recipient's CLABE and name before confirming. SPEI transfers are immediate and hard to recall.
The Lightning invoice is valid for 5 minutes. If it expires, refresh the order to get a new quote.
After the payout completes, you can download a transfer receipt with the Banxico CEP link from the order details, useful as proof of payment.
Practical takeaway
Your bitcoin becomes as spendable as your bank balance: one Lightning payment on your side, one ordinary SPEI on theirs.
