When you buy bitcoin on Aureo, you deposit Mexican pesos via SPEI and receive bitcoin directly at the wallet address you provide. Aureo never takes custody of your bitcoin.
Before you start:
Your identity verification (Tier 1) must be approved.
You need a bitcoin wallet address (on-chain) or Lightning Address where you want to receive bitcoin.
Steps:
Go to Buy Bitcoin.
If you have not yet set a payout address, you will be prompted to enter one:
Enter a Bitcoin address (e.g., bc1..., 1..., 3...) or a Lightning Address (e.g., [email protected]).
You can also scan a QR code from your wallet.
BOLT11 Lightning invoices are not supported (they expire).
Aureo will display your unique CLABE number and the recipient details for the SPEI transfer:
Recipient: Soluciones Tecnologicas Nagumatech
CLABE: Your personal deposit CLABE
Open your banking app and make a SPEI transfer to the provided CLABE.
The transfer must come from a bank account in your name.
Minimum deposit: $1,000 MXN. Maximum deposit: $200,000 MXN.
Once Aureo detects your deposit, your pesos are automatically converted to bitcoin and sent to your wallet address.
You will receive an email confirmation when your bitcoin has been sent.
You can optionally enter an estimated amount on the Buy Bitcoin page to see an approximate rate, but the actual amount converted is determined by the deposit received.
